A arma secreta para Drag x Drive
I’d argue that the most disappointing aspect of Drag x Drive is its visual presentation. Colors don’t pop, environments lack polish, and the graphics just generally fail to highlight the power of the Nintendo Switch 2.
I tried Hori's Steam controller, and it feels almost as quirky as Valve's original version - for better or worse
Drag x Drive review: "I'm left craving Arms' sauce from Nintendo's twitchy yet shallow basketballer, which feels like a tech demo"
Drag x Drive is a decently entertaining hooping experience – but bland visuals and tiring controls mean it’s not the slam dunk Nintendo hoped for
2 by scoring while doing a trick, like a slam dunk. While all of this, from the micro-points to nailing three-pointers, can make the difference in a tight game, in practice it's way more likely you'll miss, meaning it feels the most optimal to just glide near-ish the opponent's net and flick away without needing to aim to keep the points flowing.
Back to my jeans (don't worry, this is only one of two reviews I'll do this year that focus on my trousers – check out the Horror Special 2025 for more). While you can drag the disconnected Joy-Con 2 controllers across any surface, one in each hand, I find legs preferable here. Mimicking pushing the tires of a wheelchair, swift and long motions low down suit Drag x Drive the best for me.
Additionally, the game is visually uninspired, lacking the vibrancy and character we all expect from Nintendo titles. In the end, Drag x Drive is a bit of a mixed bag, and only time will tell if it’s got enough sauce to hold down a loyal playerbase.
You know when I have my Drag x Drive jeans on Drag x Drive – straight-legged, dark blue denim – that means three things: I'm ready to drag, I'm ready to drive, and I am ready to play some ball
Old School RuneScape has officially taken over my life, and I deeply regret not trying it out sooner
So, how about we go back to that question of ours: is Drag x Drive just a glorified tech demo? Well, that might be a touch harsh.
3v3 online matches are generally competitive and entertaining to hop into, though, as I mentioned, a few games left my arms feeling lethargic. And other than those on-line matches, there’s not all too much to do.
